After months of rebuilding, restoring, and plugging in, the doors on Cowls Road are finally opening. Tilted Orbit is home to one of the largest pinball collections in the Valley, a lineup of retro games, and a golf and multi-sport simulator, all under one roof in North Amherst.
On October 17, we're throwing a launch party to match. Inside, the machines are running all day and into the night. Outside, our big tent is packed with music, local makers, community groups, and a beer garden from 11 AM to 7 PM. Come for an hour or stay for the whole day. Bring the kids, bring your friends, or bring the coworker who swears they were a pinball champion in 1987.

FIELD REPORT: WHAT TO EXPECT
2 hours of free play. Every guest gets a play card preloaded with two hours on the machines. Use it on pinball and retro games inside or under the tent.
Free time on the multi-sport simulator. Sign up for a free 30-minute session and take a swing at golf or whatever sport you’re into. Spots are limited, so grab one early.
Outdoor beer garden under the tent until 7pm. Cocktails and mocktails inside.
DJ Reddfox under the big tent. Spinning from 11am to 7pm.
John Higby, The Yo-Yo Guy, live at 2pm. A special performance you’ll want a front-row spot for.
3 Amigos food truck parked outside under the tent.
Our kitchen and snack bar. Grilled cheese that’s anything but basic, sweet treats, and plenty more to fuel your next game. The kitchen serves until 8pm.
New England Pinball League. Find out how league play works and where you’d fit in.
Belles & Chimes Women’s League. Meet the league, ask about joining, and maybe pick up a few tips.
Amherst Golf Club on site to talk swings, simulators, and what’s possible at both spots.
Comics N’ More. Easthampton’s favorite comic shop is setting up under the tent. Come browse, dig through some bins, and talk shop with people who know their stuff.
Face and Body Painting by Noelle for the youngest earthlings (and any adult brave enough).
Live caricatures by JRC Cartoons. Leave with a portrait that’s a little more flattering than your high score.
Artist Eric Talbot. Stop by to see his work up close, chat with the artist, and take a piece of it home.
Dakin Humane Society. Stop by to say hello, learn about their work, and maybe meet a future best friend.
Tilted Orbit merch. Be among the first to grab tees, hats, and squishy Oinkberts. Proof you were there when they landed.
